This is the sixth day of my second series of a “week-in-the-life.”

6:00 am – Radio Alarm – EVEN though it’s Saturday!! (My husband had to get up early to volunteer at our daughter’s school fair).
I went back to sleep till 7:00 am.
7:30 am – started stretching in bed.
8:00 am – Sat up in bed and did some paper work for 20 minutes.
8:15 am – 4 Minute Morning (Week 3 – DAY 7) + calf stretches – make bed – wash up – get dressed – dry condensation from windows.
8:40 am – Make kids breakfasts: Fresh fruit smoothie with VEGA powder for both kids, soft boiled egg and toast (for one kid); toast w/ hazelnut spread for the other.
MY BREAKFAST: 1 Small Banana, 1 1/2 Cup frozen Spinach, steamed w/ fresh lemon juice & olive oil, 1 Soft Boiled egg, 1 Cup Cooked Quinoa/Rice flakes + 1TBSP. Pure Canadian Maple Syrup, 8oz. Japanese Green Tea, 12 oz. Water.
9:20 am – Rush out door w/ both kids to drive to my daughter’s piano lesson.
10:15 am – Go to school fair.
11: 15 am – SNACK – Salted Pumpkin Seeds + Walnuts
1:00 pm – Arrive home – let dogs out – feed kids lunch
MY LUNCH – 2 Cups Kabocha Pumpkin Soup, and I can’t remember what else I ate because I didn’t write it down right away. I always think that I’ll remember…But I imagine that it would have been quite a bit more as per usual. I was pretty hungry, even though I had a lot for breakfast. The pumpkin seeds and walnuts for snack just didn’t cut it.
1:30 – 2:00 pm – Slow Dog walk/sniff down the street with Stella (14.5 year old Ridgeback) and the kids.
2:15 – 3:00 pm – Fast Dog walk with Ruby (10 year old Ridgeback – technically she’s old, but we still think of her as the puppy).
3:00 pm – SNACK – Mary’s Sticks & Twigs, 3 Prunes, 12 oz. Water
3:30 pm – Return to School Fair for last half hour.
4:00 pm – Take kids to Toy Store – choose a DVD
4:45 pm – Stop at grocery store w/ kids (they actually behaved well this time)
5:15 pm – Arrive home – prepare dinner
6:15 pm – MY DINNER – 4 oz. New York Striploin Beef Steak, Romaine Salad – 2 small Chicken drumsticks – steamed Kale w/ fresh lemon juice & olive oil, boiled Sweet potato & yams w/ unsalted butter, 12oz. Water, 1/4 Cup Red Wine, 2 Squares chocolate.
7:30 pm – Clean up kitchen and dinner dishes – run dishwasher
8:30 pm – Get kids to bed
9:00 – 10:00 pm – Work at computer, inputting log
10:00 – 10:30 pm – Ashtanga Yoga Standing Series
Wash up for bed.
10:45 pm – Lights out.
